Concept of “All under Heaven”, Relation to “Mandate of Heaven”

The concept of “All under Heaven” is referring to “everything under heaven” or the entire world. The emperor of China would rule the entire world although there are parts in the world in which out of his control. Furthermore, it also expresses that the world existed not for a single ruler but for all people. The concept of “Mandate of Heaven” is the justifiable power given to the ruler or the emperor to take over the people under him. The Heaven would support the good and wise ruler and it can also take away the mandate of the unwise or abusive emperor. In relation of the two concepts, the ruler who administer with the “Mandate of Heaven” should be proclaimed to “All under Heaven” that refers to the entire things under heaven.
